The great thing on five-year-olds is they’re always ready to learn new games. As long as they have fun, they do not realize they are learning too.

In Kindergarten, students learn about counting, counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s, putting things in order, money and telling time to the hour.

Maths educational games for Kindergarten helps them to learn first.

Teaching a young kid to count requires repetition. Try to fit counting into every activity.

Count pages of books, pieces of candy, number of toys, etc. There are loads of books out in the market. These books are all about counting as well as some outstanding games for young kids.

Cherry-Oh! has always been one of my kid’s favourites. The web is also an excellent source of free mathematics activities, including free printable play money to practice.

Science Activities:

Five-year-olds are not intrigued in learning dull old lab experiments nor are they appropriate for young kids.

Fortunately, science is everywhere in the world around us. Kindergartens will be learning basic facts about plants and animals, sorting objects based on physical characteristics, light shadow, magnets, weather, and the 5 senses.

A perfect activity to teach children about plants is to let them grow their very own small plant – sunflowers and marigolds are hardy and easy to grow.

They enjoy the bright colours of the flowers. From that kids start to recognize different colours.

A trip to the zoo is a good interactive activity to learn about animals whilst the library.

The Net can provide info on animals not found locally.

Craft Activities:

During clean-up or crafts activities, your kid can practice sorting. Ask your kid to put all the round toys away first or all the blue toys.

Eventually work up to characteristics like soft\/hard, and smooth\/rough. Teaching your kid about magnets can be easy too.

A toy fitted with a magnet can attract other iron-like substance. This will produce wonder in your kid’s mind. They will want to know the fact.

Whether you’ve refrigerator magnets or home office magnets, collect items around the home which are picked up and some items which aren’t picked up by a magnet.

Place everything on the table in front of your kid. Before your kid uses the magnet on each group of objects, have your kid guess what will happen.

Borrow some books from the library about the 4 seasons and the weather which goes along with them. Every morning, ask your kid to look out and tell you what the weather is like.

For every parent, this is very important to grow up their kids properly. This starts at Kindergarten.
